Active Daily Living Assistance

Activities of daily living (ADLs) are routine activities people do every day without assistance. There are six basic ADLs: eating, bathing, getting dressed, toileting, mobility and continence. The performance of these ADLs is important in determining what type of long-term care and health coverage, such as Medicare, Medicaid, or long-term care insurance, a person will need as they age.

At Silvercare, our health workers help a person engage in ADLs like eating, bathing and getting dressed. By helping clients with these daily activities, our team helps people to maintain their dignity and to function independently.


Caregiver Services

At Silvercare Home Care, every caregiver we send to your home is a directly employed, credentialed professional who consistently demonstrates friendliness and professionalism.

Our caregivers have completed a structured training program ensuring they are well versed and skilled in assisting clients including issues such as patient privacy, safe assistance with walking and transfers, therapeutic diets, personal care, and much more.
